It’s hard to pull off a chic princess-themed party, but Laura managed to do it! She added this ‘vintage’ spin, and I especially like the sewing basket as a centerpiece. Via Laura’s flickrstream.
The Ivory Social’s ‘Circus Bizirrcus’ for Tyler’s 4th birthday is full of fun, colorful details! I love the twist on a classic circus theme.

Brooke’s latest party creation… a balloon-inspired party for her son’s 6th. Look at the candy-filled balloon board (her alternative to the classic pinanta!). Via Inchmark.

With my littlest having a halloween weekend birthday, I’m loving this ‘birthdayween’ from bird & banner.
(my apologies for my recent absence, it’s a very hectic time of year!)

I love seeing happy results from reader questions. This cute ‘Nemo’ birthday from Nuong was our reader question of the week back in May. Well done, Nuong!

Those who have followed this blog for awhile might remember one of my all-time favorite parties…the Frida Kahlo birthday from MikoDesign. Erika (of MD) recently forwarded this adorable take on her Frida party that a reader had sent her. Isn’t it great?! I love to see how we can inspire one another. My favorite touch in this one (from mon petit enfant) are the self-portraits the little Frida’s made of themselves. Awesome.

I love the dreamy photography and especially the ice cream pinĂ¥ta, in this party from Chickabug.
X marks the spot at this pirate birthday from photographer Kristen Eldridge.

Another I-can’t-resist party from stephmodo! Too, too cute. I’m in the throw’s of planning Adah’s first birthday so I am seeking inspiration. Color me inspired!

A sweet surprise party for photographer Julie Parker’s teenage daughter, Wren. From Julie Parker Photography.
